LakeShore Idol

Fashioned after the hit TV show American Idol, Lakeshore Idol is a singing competition among lakeshore residents who would like to showcase their talents on stage before a panel of judges and a live audience! The winner will take home a prize package of $1000 cash and be crowned the first Lakeshore Idol. Lakeshore Idol is a collaborative effort between The Holland Civic Theatre and the Park Theatre and is open to anyone ages 16 and over. Auditions will be on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 6 pm at the Park Theatre. Only 20 contestants will move forward from the audition to perform in the live elimination rounds.
	The performances will begin on Thursday, January 31 at 7 pm at the Park Theatre and continue each Thursday to the Grand Finale on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 7 pm at the Park Theatre. Each week, five contestants will be eliminated with the last five to perform at the Grand Finale on Feb 21, 2008 at 7 pm at the Park Theatre. The Park Theatre is located at 248 River Ave. in Holland MI.

Tickets can be purchased at the Holland Civic Theatre Box Office at 50 W. Ninth St, Holland MI or by calling 616-396-2021. Tickets to the auditions are $8 per person. Tickets to the performances on January 31, February 7, and February 14 are $12 per person. Tickets to the Grand Finale, on February 21, 2008, are $15 per person. Each ticket to a performance will let you cast your vote for the first Lakeshore Idol.
